I reckon that the Year 2006 is going to be the year of web 2.0. It's high time that web developers get upto speed with web 2.0. Already there is a whole list of new technologies, stuffs that are packaged in a new flavor (eg. AJAX) and a big list of Jargons.

The below figure lists the major elements that constitute web 2.0 from Dion Hinchcliffe's blog.

 

The year 2006 will also see numerous web 2.0 softwares sprouting up.

Dion Hinchcliffe's blog also has a list of the best web 2.0 software of 2005. Wonder how they will fare at the end of year 2006!!
